These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the hire of VMS (Variable Message Sign) trailers from Force Marketing (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By proceeding with the hire, the customer (“you”) agrees to these terms automatically upon commencement of the hire.

1. Hire Conditions

Rates are based on a per-day hire.
The hire commences from the time the VMS trailer is delivered and activated on-site.
The final day of hire ends at 4 PM unless a prior agreement has been made.
Hire charges apply for the entire duration the VMS is on hire, not just when it is in use.
Charges are calculated from the time the VMS is delivered and activated until we are notified that the hire is to cease, or the agreed hire period ends.

2. Delivery and Pick-Up

For insurance and safety purposes, delivery and pick-up of the VMS trailers are conducted exclusively by Force Marketing staff.
Under no circumstances can a VMS trailer be moved by anyone other than Force Marketing staff.

3. Ceasing the Hire

To cease the hire, you must notify us and confirm when the VMS trailer is ready for collection unless an end-of-hire date has been pre-arranged.
Notification must be made by contacting [Insert Phone Number] and speaking directly to a staff member.
If notification is not provided, the VMS trailer will remain on hire, and charges will continue to accrue.

4. Permits and Infringements

It is your responsibility to obtain any necessary permits from local government bodies or road authorities for the placement of the VMS trailer.
If an authority requests the removal of the VMS trailer during the hire period, we will comply and inform you promptly.
Any fines, infringements, or charges incurred during the hire period are your responsibility.
You are responsible for costs if the VMS trailer is impounded or towed. The hire continues until the trailer is released and returned to us.

5. Payment Terms

Full payment is required prior to the delivery of any VMS trailer.
Payment terms of 7 days apply for customers with an approved account.
Refunds will not be provided for early returns or collections.
Payment methods accepted: Cash, Bank Transfer, or other approved methods.
We reserve the right to charge interest under the Penalty Interest Account Act for overdue payments and pass on any collection costs to a registered Credit Agency or Debt Collector.

6. Insurance

Insurance for the VMS trailer is included in the hire fee.
You are responsible for the theft of batteries or any damage caused due to misuse or negligence. Such costs will be invoiced to you.
Any damage or loss must be reported immediately. A written report, including photos if applicable, must be emailed to [Insert Email Address].

7. Early Termination or Cancellation

Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the booking date will incur no penalty.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date will incur a 50% cancellation fee to cover artwork creation costs and the inability to rebook on short notice.

8. Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the hire or use of the VMS trailer.
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, damages, or costs arising from improper use or placement of the VMS trailer during the hire period.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
